Leadership experience

Post  162ndMarines on Mon Oct 04, 2010 7:51 pm

This post is mainly directed at the administration but if you guys ever run into a problem where you're unsure what to do in a situation where you would have to make a decision based on your leadership position and authority, feel free to consult me for my insight if you wish. I say this because i've been in NJROTC for a little more than 3 years goin on 4. For those of you who don't know what that is or stands for, its Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps. Its a military organization offered in high school. ROTC is offered in college in which you can actually become an officer in any branch of the military when you graduate. But anyway, Im the Command Master Chief of our unit at my high school. Im the only one with that position and im on senior staff which means i help run the unit along with 4 other people. I have to make leadership decisions all the time plus ive had classes on leadership and leadership psychology in NJROTC so im pretty familiar with bein in a leadership position. If you're curious about what a Command Master Chief Petty Officer is, its like an E-10 even though theres no such thing really. Military enlisted ranks stop at E-9 but its like being the same thing as a Command Sergeant Major in CA lol only being in charge of other CSM's but not quite bein a 2nd LT. Its like in the Navy they have somebody called the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy. Only one person ever has that job or title and thats what I am in my unit. (my profile picture is the rank insignia of the master chief petty officer of the navy and mine my unit only without the silver star at the top in the middle but with the two on the sides. just like a regular master chief rank) But the point is, if you need help ever, i'm glad to help or give advice.

No I'm not an admin. If I hadn't quit playin last year this time, I would be. I was in the clan originally in like September or August of last year. But if an admin position opened I'd definitely jump on it. That's one of my major goals in this clan is to make admin.
