Youtube Tech Support

If anybody knows anything about how to fix your video playback on Youtube I would really appreciate it. For some reason, any video I watch on Youtube is really dark now. Mostly with Minecraft. Its like everything dim or dark at all is amplified to be even darker now. This started maybe a week ago or so. Flash player had an update availiable and I updated and now I'm havin' this problem. I don't know if its just a coincidence or if the flash player update has somethin' to do with it. I've tried downgradin' my flash player to 9 but no luck. I messed around with my Java a few days ago and reinstalled the latest version of that and it actually worked until I messed with my Flash player afterwords. Please don't post "Well why don't you just change the brightness on Youtube?" or somethin' like that because its not that simple. Not to be rude or anything, but if you have no idea what you're talkin' about or what to do, please don't reply to this post. Thanks.

To be honest, your problem doesn't make sense to me. I did some looking, and there are no setting controlling video brightness. You may want to check and see if your videos are playing in 240p quality. Sometimes that can make videos seem darker and pixilated. Other than that, it's either an issue with you computer, your flash player(but I think I use the same one), or browser. I'm pretty definite it is not youtube, unless it is the quality thing. I looks in account settings for playback and stuff and I couldn't find anything.

Yeah its different if I use Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer. Its worse on Google Chrome but I had the problem fixed when I messed with my flash player a few days ago and I messed with it again for some stupid reason and its back the way it was. I've checked the video playback options on my Youtube account and you don't have anything that lets you control the brightness or anything like that. Only for playin' videos in lower quality because you have a slow connection and I don't have a slow connection and I've tried usin' it like that anyway and it still doesn't work. I've made sure I play videos in the right quality. Sometimes even 720p HD on Youtube and still the same problem, only I get to view darkness in HD I think I can narrow this problem down to either my graphics card or my flash player bein' the problem. It only does this with really pix elated videos like Minecraft. I'll keep messin' with it but if you learn anything else, post it!

Ok so I just reinstalled the newest Flash player which is 10 or somethin'. Youtube videos only work if I watch it in the "pop out menu" so I can watch em' but not like I used to by just normally watchin' it. I guess I can deal with this. I think its a flash player 10 thing and it can't play the videos through usin' the browser or somethin' like that. At least I CAN watch videos now.
