Kony 2012 - End a Tragedy

Post  Jayccarl01 on Mon Mar 12, 2012 8:25 pm

I feel like one of the last people I know to have seen this video, so some of you may have already seen it. This video is produced by Invisible Children, a group dedicated to stopping the use of children as soldiers by a rebel named Kony in Uganda, Africa. After watching this video, I think that we as a group should pitch in and help someone. One way would be to raise awareness through our website (using Twitter and Facebook...can our organization "like" theirs?). Anyway, watch this video (be prepared: it's 30 mins) and then let's talk about what we can do. This campaign has some urgency, since the US may pull its assisting troops out if the general interest among US citizens is low.

I saw this video before and it's pretty shocking. I can't believe that I never knew about this guy before. Here's the most wanted international criminal. He needs to be stopped and put on trial so that his purposeless rebellion will be over.
